I chose the special hand washing programme. No spinning of course. Otherwise it will loose its softness. I think that dry cleaning is good for suits and dresses but clothes I wear near to my skin shall be cleaned in water with a mild liquid wool detergent. It's important to keep the lanolin in.
IrisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259302379653175346.post-19842248440956706532010-05-20T09:52:46.517-07:002010-05-20T09:52:46.517-07:00Just gotta be careful what kind of detergent you u...Just gotta be careful what kind of detergent you use.. I hand wash items on a fairly regular basis and I have a dedicated plastic tub for handwashing/soaking items and a drying rack. I have had so many items messed up at various dry cleaners that I won't use their services anymore.AilanthusAltissimahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13350359465296643174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259302379653175346.post-48944245372633290152010-05-19T08:07:13.405-07:002010-05-19T08:07:13.405-07:00For a long time I was spending a lot on drycleanin...For a long time I was spending a lot on drycleaning, as I was wearing wool pants to work a lot. But then I started buying pants that I can just throw in the wash (and that wouldn't shrink so much that I would never wear them again).

Recently I have been starting to actually hand wash my bras, which I never used to do, and I'm definitely seeing how they will last longer because of it.Lindsey @ pickyeatingshttp://pickyeatings.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259302379653175346.post-83850938129338789782010-05-19T06:52:35.953-07:002010-05-19T06:52:35.953-07:00i've heard the shampoo trick works as long as...i've heard the shampoo trick works as long as it's a gentle shampoo.laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460321651292267296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259302379653175346.post-75865561081702314202010-05-19T06:20:59.294-07:002010-05-19T06:20:59.294-07:00Yes, I do.
