Remember when I said I wanted something dark and dramatic for the bathroom wall? I eventually decided on a dark olive green but I'm not happy with how it came out. It looks a lot better in the pic than in person...
I don't like the way the white shelving brackets stand out so much and I also don't like the sheen of the eggshell finish (the larger samples only come in eggshell finish). I'm thinking of repainting it white... what do you think??

I actually really like it! Maybe you can add a little color to balance it with a piece of art?
yeah the sheen of it is not good. and the color just isn't....doing anything positive. maybe a brighter shade? but in a matte finish.
maybe a light lavender or a soft blue?....but the shelves SHOULD stand out, they're totally fabulous! great job considering the space issue!
I think you are right that it doesn't look that bad in the picture, but I know if I was in your shoes, I would also want to repaint it if I wasn't really happy with it. But I would be so boring and probably paint it white!
I'm searching for something for the large frame now. but will most likely be black and white.
I may use my new stencils to create a subtle pattern for the back wall...
will keep you posted!
I love the idea of a dramatic color. What if you went a little browner or grayer?

That is a shiny eggshell... I don't mind the color though. Maybe just do another coat in a matte version? or, a coat of something slightly more grey?
White!!!!!
Or maybe an aquatic blue-green color, or a light gray with a touch of beige (if the wall isn't white, I would paint the shelving brackets too)
I think the shelves make it look heavy. The color would probably work in flat and w/o the shelves or go white on the walls with them. Maybe roll the towels too.
The boldness of the color is a nice direction but I think that maybe there is a little too much yellow in the paint. How about something greyer with a satin finish? (Not sure I would move down to flat in a bathroom).
